Role:

As a WordPress Support Engineer Intern, you will provide help to our customers with the industry-leading customer service they’ve come to expect. CODE REX is a very customer-centric company looking for candidates that share our passion for WordPress and customer satisfaction. You will clearly communicate with customers and quickly solve their technical problems with a friendly attitude. At CODE REX, WordPress Support Engineers will represent the core front-line support team and are responsible for ensuring our user experience is unparalleled.


Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for our customers whenever they have any issues on their websites. Being the first point of contact, it's really important for us that you provide an excellent experience to the customer by taking ownership of any issues reported by our customers and seeing problems through to their quick and effective resolution.
  • Respond to support questions about our products WPFunnels, Mail Mint, Product Feed Manager for WooCommerce, and WP VR.
  • Answer questions in our help desk software HelpScout, WordPress Repo, and social media community channels.
  • Write detailed bug reports with replication steps for the dev team to fix.
  • Write new documentation and update existing articles as needed.
  • Convert recurring issues into feature requests for the development team and be the user’s voice in the CODE REX to help improve the plugins.


Requirements:

  • Empathy for customers.
  • Passionate about providing excellent support.
  • A curiosity to learn and grow.
  • Fluent in reading and writing English (spelling and grammar).
  • Understanding and ability to write custom CSS.
  • Understanding and the ability to write HTML.
  • Ability to write and understand PHP will add extra benefit.
  • Ability to write and read jQuery, JavaScript and any JS framework will add extra benefit.
  • Self-starter. You don’t have to be micromanaged.
  • Troubleshooting experience.
  • A curiosity to learn and grow.

Salary: 

  • 10,000 BDT/month


Work Hours:

  • 8 AM - 5 PM


Working Days: 

  • Weekly: 5 days.
  • Weekend: Saturday & Sunday.
